The Sunday Post (17): Never Enough Time!

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. #IWSG March 2019: Masquerade: Oddly Suited Blog Tour & Heroes Vs. Villains

It’s time for another Insecure Writer’s Support Group post to boost my confidence and encourage myself to engage with the writing community. The IWSG post on the first Wednesday of every month. This month’s co-hosts are:  Beverly Stowe McClure, Erika Beebe, and Lisa Buie-Collard!  Hello, everyone! I hope you’re all having a good week. I’ve been feeling slightly frazzled lately as I have so much going on both at work and at home. Finding time for writing is a challenge at the moment, but I’m trying to squeeze in a little where I can. If only I could survive without sleep! I’m excited to […]

Happy 10th Blogversary to me!

Happy 10th Blogversary to me!

Today marks a whopping 10 years since I began blogging! I’ve taken a few breaks here and there, and the blog has certainly evolved from how it first began. In the beginning… Way back in 2009 (a time before parenthood that I can barely remember now) my blog was called Creative Therapy. I had been struggling with my mental health since 2007 and wanted a place to express myself. I mainly posted terrible poems and the occasional piece of artwork. I joined in with a lot of blog hops and fests, my favourite being the Blogging from A-Z Challenge, which […]

#bookbloggerhop Audio Books Vs. Ebooks?

#bookbloggerhop Audio Books Vs. Ebooks?

It’s time for the Book Blogger Hop, a weekly hop hosted by Billy B at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer (originally created by Jennifer at  Crazy-For-Books). You can see the hop schedule here. This week’s question: “Audio books vs. Ebooks? If the world stopped printing books, which would you prefer between the two?” Submitted by Angelica @ Paperback Princess Although I enjoy both depending on my mood, if I had to choose I would go for Ebooks. I prefer Ebooks because: I like to read at my own pace. I sometimes find myself zoning out when I listen to audio books, especially when I’m tired. […]

2019 Reading List & Challenges

2019 Reading List & Challenges

I’m so addicted to reading challenges, even though I don’t always complete them. I decided to keep a list of all the challenges I’ve signed up for this year in one post, for easier tracking. The books I plan to read to complete all these challenges can be found on my Goodreads 2019 TBR list. Beat the Backlist I have a huge TBR pile, so this challenge is perfect for me. Any book published in 2018 or earlier (any genre, format, length, etc.) counts towards this challenge, and you can set your own goal for how many you would like […]
